The camp

Desert luxury, done quietly

Taragalte is a desert luxury glamping camp of ten berber tents set between the palm groves and the dunes of Tahtah, a short drive beyond the town of Zagora in the Drâa Valley. There is no electricity hum here — no roads, no light pollution — only the fire, the wind and, once the stars come out, an almost total silence.

Each tent is a room in the desert: hand-woven wool rugs underfoot, crisp linen on deep beds, a warm lantern at dusk, and a private shower lit by moonlight. Mornings begin with bread baked in the camp ovens and mint tea poured the old way; afternoons are given to dune walks, camel treks and slow hours in the shade of the acacia.

Everything is quiet, considered and unhurried — the table set for dinner under the palms, the fire lit as the sky turns, the Milky Way enormous overhead. Five-star comfort, none of the noise.
